I'm going to look at an 87 this afternoon and I'm pretty sure I'll be taking it home with me, I just have one question, if and when the cdi fails is it easy to convert to the newer setup or can i just keep replacing the unit? This bike has almost 7000 miles and the current owner says it runs fine. Any suggestions? I realize its an old bike with some miles so I don't mind fixing her up, I may do a hollow bike with this one.
