Being raised next to Smith Rocks, it's good to see some shots of the old stompin' grounds. I was once on a cattle drive bringing some Herefords out of the summer range near Tam McArthur Rim. If you ever go on a ride further east and want some company, let me know. I live in Eastern Oregon so close to Idaho that I can smell the spuds.

Thanks!
It's a 1989. I think they only did it for a year or two, but I could be wrong. If it would help you out, I could take some pics of the tank Graphics so you could try to have them made or something. Let me know.

I used to ride that area when I lived in Bend in the seventies. RT 360 Yamaha, Later a 350 Honda, and a wierd Suzuki.

Great trails.

I note from the maps that bend has grown into some of the close to town trails.

Darnold hasn't posted anything since 2014 so he may not see your post.;) You could try sending him a PM from this forum but he may be long gone ,i.e a former member who has moved on.

Those are great photo's of your ride. Again I say, "so many great places to ride, so little time in which to get it done".

Thanks for sharing.
One of those great places to ride has to be the Oregon Backcountry Discovery Trail system...one section goes some 750 miles North and South from Washington to California...no doubt more than my no butt old body could take....but I hope to ride some of it before I quit riding...I think that is the name of it...
