I was looking for a cheaper alternative to a Pelican case and couldn't find one that was easily obtained in Canada

I decided to just buy a Husky technician box from Home Depot as something to hold me over till I found one.

Low and behold, it was perfect!!

So, this was on sale for $25 can from 29
It fits perfectly on top of a Cyclerack

Mounted with some ubolts, gutted the insides (sorry, forgot to take a pic of this), and locked with a MasterLock trailer lock I picked up from Home Depot again for $10

Pretty crazy cheap..
Quite a bit less rigid than the Pelicans, but still sturdy enough (my first use was carrying my 10" dual mass flywheel for the broken down cage home)
I wouldn't keep my valuables in there though, just cargo

So! Canadians! Fear not, a cheap solution is possible :)

some of these cases are nearly the same, look similar side by side. I got mine from MCM Electronics, they used to have a wide variety of sizes, but have cut down how many they carry now. The Pelican cases I have are too big for me to get over, lol, so I got one slightly smaller.
