hey, new guy here. bought a tw200 about 6 months ago with a rusty tank, put a clarke tank on it and cleaned the rust out of the carb. put the tw in the back of the garage for a few months go to pull it out and the cap is broken. Google tells me this is common and even if i get a new one it will brake too. So I saw tusk makes a clarke tank cap and some guys claim to be using a 17620-KT1-780 which is a honda xr650r cap. anybody have any guidance on this what direction should I go?

A cap should not be breaking so quickly. Good to hear Clarke is on top of it.

The Tusk Billet cap for Clarke tanks is a thing of beauty.

I'm not sure why Clarke can make a plastic tank that you can throw down a mountain without worrying, but their plastic caps are garbage that seem to break all on their own.

Tusk cap comes with the shorty billet vent tube too, I've been super happy with mine

I'm using the same cap (same color to) as DonBenito after my clark cap broke. The Tusk caps are very nice IMO.
