[Quicksand]

Hello everyone! I just finished cleaning my carb and of course after I got it put back together I realized I didn't put back the rubber cap that goes over the Pilot Set Screw. So my question is should I be worried and put it back on or is it OK. Also, if it is OK why do they put it on there? I appreciate your help.

My old bike didn't have one when I bought it, but I'd guess it's an anti-tamper plug. Companies tend to have to officially discourage tuning the pilot screw because of pollution regulations.
