Hi Guys,

Is there a hack for cleaning the air filter before roiling it?

I use No-Toil oil and cleaner. But you have to start with a fresh, unoiled filter to start with.
BTW, the factory filter will decay in a few years. If you let your TW200 sit for a season, open up and verify it's not starting to crumble apart. OEM filters available on eBay for reasonable prices.

I still use gas. Tried a spray on cleaner and found it messy.

Mineral spirits won't break down the filter material and work well. After that I use dish washing soap to get all the remaining grime out. Dry and the then oil it up.

Soap and very hot water. Rinse and repeat while not sending any solvents down the drain nor evaporating into atmosphere.
