So from another post...decided to remove the spring from the coasting enricher to see if this "system" was the cause of my slow return to idle problem in the warm afternoons. When I removed the spring, that side of the "system" had a fair bit of liquidish varnish in it. The diaphragm LOOKED in good shape, so trying to figure out how gasoline is getting pulled into that side of the vacuum system.
Could be maybe that the diaphragm does have a leak in it and somehow the vacuum that is pulled on it during throttle chop is pulling fuel through it somehow?
