So me rear fender is scratched/gouged and cracked. Did a lot of research and asked previously on the forum about how to fix them. Tried the acrylic nail paste and didn't work. Thought about JB plastic weld and read it didn't work on polypropylene. Read about plastic welding..don't have one but I have a heat gun. Read polypropylene only bonds to polypropylene. Well looked under the lid of a cool whip container and it says Polypropylene. Cut some strands from the lid, heated them up and by gosh it works. Might need a lot of sanding and forming but will report back...maybe with pics depending on how it goes. Wish me luck...gonna need it.

I'm in 1911garands court in that it's a badge of honor for me of all the battle wounds the TW receives but I understand many other folks don't' ride these off-road like I do (and Mrs. Admiral). However, what you are coming up with for a solution is pretty neat stuff. Way more thought than I would've put into it, but I really applaud your effort and perseverance! Hope the cool whip lid patch works!

Well it works but...as I'm not an artiste it is going to take some time to Dremel it down and get it to where I'm satisfied. On the lookout for a rear fender in the meantime.. No seriously, anyone have one?
