I just received my cyclerack with the side bag brackets and found that the bag brackets don't clear my turn signals.

Has any one found this on there bike?

Mine is a 1987.

Looks like the lights must be modified or replaced.

There is a instructional post on shortening the stock lights, I bought some Baja Designs lights.

Could you just mount the bags a little further forward to clear the lights?

Go here and follow the instructions on shortening the lights. This is what I used to shorten mine and it worked really well.
