After all the great reviews on the Cycle Rack I am getting ready to squeeze the trigger and place my order.

However I am planning on using the JCW Truck with it. Has anyone used this combo and if so will the crossbar of the rack be in the way? I like the JCW trunk because of the price and the fact that it has the molded area for a back rest.

BTW, does the rack present a problem when carrying a passenger?



How about the Happy Trails rack? any comments on them?...their crossbar is removable I think.

I am using that combination on my KLR:

The bracket to raise the front of the mounting plate is a universal angle bracket such as might be used to mount a newspaper box to a post. U-bolts attach to the rack.
