Have a road trip this weekend, and have been trying to figure out how to pack a guitar plus gear/clothing, and the cyclerack seemed to be the best option based on reviews and comments here.

Emailed just after midnight and my phone rang literally 5 minutes later. Rack on the way for friday delivery, no payment requested until it's received and I'm satisfied.

Who does business like this anymore? I'm impressed and happy to be supporting this company.

When it comes to "Cycle Racks" I have heard this type of comment ALOT ! This is not about how to conduct business, I suspect the owner and crew go about their personal lives with the same philosophy; trust and respect.

It is an inspiration, and I will take note. Though not a business person, I can always do better in how I treat the people around me..... Gerry

When I ordered my Cycleracks rack and pannier holders, I kept insisting that they let me send them the check, but the guy insisted even more that I wait. So, the moment it came to my front door, I took out the invoice and immediately sent them a check. Very nice and trusting folks.

Similar experience-would not charge my card until I received the product. In addition they over charged my card by $20.00. Called me of their mistake (but couldn't figure out how to run a credit to my card)...received a check for the difference 2 days later via USPS

I made my own rack to serve my unique needs. I suspect that when (and I surely will) sell my rig, folks will not necessarily be enamoured with my set-up. I have admired the Cycle-Rack and the companies way of treating people. Though I am happy with my current set-up, I just ordered a rack from a great group of folks, that I may need in the future.

I really am not the type to stand atop a pedestal; BUT, when someone (Cycleracks) goes so far beyond the norm in the way they treat 'people', a message needs to be sent. I want to support a GREAT group of folks so others know that "respect and trust" pay dividends. Gerry

I emailed Cycleracks last week asking if even a mechanical knucklehead of a pastor could install one of their racks. I told them that I'd heard of some guys having a bit of trouble. Don said they've made some changes. He sent me a rack the next day saying 'you'll see' and 'if you don't like it send it back'. I got it in a few days, and within 30 minutes had that puppy installed. Nice! Nice goin' guys at cycleracks!

Sadly, in the world today, this is not the way to conduct business toward the goal of the basic accounting assumption of profit maximization. The fact that they do conduct their business in this manner is admirable, but unfortunately it will not maximize the bottom line.

We may also consider that this is a side job for them. Maybe they want people to be happy with the high craftsmanship that they offer. I can't wait to order mine in the near future.

Another very satisfied Cyclerack customer here. I normally prefer to make anonymous online transactions so I don't have to deal with unfriendly, unknowledgeable customer service representatives that try to sell me something in addition to what I really want. Cyclerack's business model made me a bit uncomfortable- until I spoke to them in person. I really enjoyed my conversation with them. The rack came quickly. I cannot imagine owning a TW without a Cyclerack. It adds more strength to the rear of the bike, it protects the side of the TW on drops, it provides a nice place for a passenger to hold on and off course it holds lots of "stuff". If I ever had to replace my TW (with a new one, of course) a Cyclerack would be the first accessory I'd buy for it.
