The JIS bolts still looked fine so I skipped on changing them to hexagonal ones.....
I used a JIS bit and the torque wrench but the heads just dissolved when tightening to spec.
Why do they used chocolate ones instead of steel ;-( ?
Now there is a small oil leak which starts at the two front lower bolts just where the cover makes the bend downwards.

Is there a way to get them out and replace them? The PH3 heads are toast.

Or improvise with breaker bar, bit and mallet:
Apply moderate CCW force on the bar to (a) keep it on the bolt head and (b) to keep it from bouncing
Strike the breaker bar over the bit with a mallet, with a little extra CCW with each impact.

When using a standard #2 or #3 or #4, it will be helpful/necessary to grind off the tip so that the bit will fully enter a JIS screw head.
