I thought that the Moki Dugway was a joke listing too. Was waiting for more of you to comment with more "I was there and it was no big deal" comments. Wanted to see if people look for the nasties first, or places they have been.
Unfortunately perhaps some list compilers have more journalistic than life experiences.
The site does have some truly intimidating roads, especially if one looks beyond the North American listings.

Here's a scary one fred: https://www.dangerousroads.org/north-america/usa/384-pacific-coast-highway-usa.html

now this one had me soiling my drawers... https://www.dangerousroads.org/south-america/bolivia/44-death-road-bolivia.html
muddy, blind curves that change right of way and which side of the road you drive on, speeding buses and overloaded trucks, 1000' drop offs into oblivion....

my pics don't do it justice.

So congradulations, Joeband has been on one of the true legitimate death roads. We sold my wife's BJ40 (diesel) with a 3 meter flat bed; at the time seemed one could still get them with the two seat cab and then choose from a variety of bed lengths. It was a rough riding beast. $_35.JPG
