I would agree. Wide with more tread on the ground. Some of the ATV tires some members use would feel like a darkside tire when first going into a turn. I may have seen some Japanese photos of car or truck tires on a TW, but nothing I can point you to though, sorry. I haven't seen anyone on the forum here in the states do it.
As far as motorcycle tires go, the TW rear tire is a great tire. I would do the fat tire mod with a rear TW tire in front and the biggest ATV tire I could get in the rear if my TW wasn't already so burdened carrying my fat A** around.
Do any of you have any direct knowledge or experience with this "Tusk" product, or with the brand, in general?
It looks well made and the price is right.
Anybody successful yet jetting a 2019 TW200?
Although it's just a camp bike right now I still would like
to ride it this winter. It won't run off-choke presently.
I've jetted all my racing dirt bikes in the past 50-years but too old and lazy now to experiment.
So to the best of my knowledge, tinted headlights arent legal in Pennsylvania but I wanted to get some protection for the plastic lense on JNS headlight unit. I always liked the look of yellow fog lights so thought I'd try that out. I think it looks pretty cool honestly but since it isnt legal...
Man, a guy here in Washington used to own a tw200, bought the pipe and put a few miles on it, feels bad for his neighbors, puts it on Craigslist for 150, pretty much brand new.
For those of you with the DGv2... are you using quiet inserts? Which ones are you using? How do the insert overall...
