Great job Krands, what a way to make a first post!
Please post more photos and an accompanying tale.
Death Valley sure can be fun on a TW . Does make one wish for a bigger fuel tank though.

Perfect time of the year except for the BLOOM in March.....there is a old road that comes into the Park from the East but I haven't ridden it.....

Played that Golf Course that is about 200' below sea level....and the one at Banff that is about 6000' above sea level ,,,,, didn't matter....

I have always believed that the Amargosa Hotel at Death Valley Junction is the inspiration for the Eagles " Hotel California "...….on a dark desert highway cool wind in my hair...…...

I like riding the park's backcountry...100 plus mile loops where one doesn't see pavement nor hardly another soul all day...sand dunes, old mines, the Racetrack where boulders blow across the playa, hot springs, wild burros, endless vistas and countles dirt roads, some with the occasional road sign.

Death Valley offers the whimsical and freedom to roam not seen in other National Monuments.
