Pleasant ride, today.
74 F to 95 F
338 miles
7 1/2 hours

Dante's View is 5,475', overlooking Bad Water Basin, which is 282 feet below sea level.

Love Death Valley but it was a lot cooler than I would have expected this time of year. It looks like a fun trip.
Wearing simply a long sleeve T shirt, when I hit 74 F on highway 95, leaving home, again towards the top of Dante's View and then again on Daylight Pass to Beatty, it was actually a bit cool.

Also, in the desert, peak temps are usually 3-5 PM and I left Furnace Creek a little after noon.

Been enjoying it, especially when I refueled in Beatty and it took 4.4 gallons, with ~1.4 gallons left!

However, when I encounter dirt, I very much miss the TW!
