Hello guys I have been kicking around this idea for awhile now. It doesn't seem to be that bad of a deal if anything can offer protection to your engine from running lean and make it run smoother to boot. http://www.thunderproducts.com/dial_a_jet.htm. I have also looked at other forums atv, bikes etc... Here is a quick review of someone that installed on his Honda Ruckus. http://totalruckus.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=47290. I think I will phone Thunder Products tomorrow to get a price. Can't be that hard to install.

Thank you for the info Rich, I guess I should have checked the old forums first. I have checked many other forums, I haven't really heard anything too negative about this setup as of yet. Kwizard let us know when you get it sorted out with your dial a jet. I will hold off until I have the final word from you
. I really am interested in it because it will provide a much smoother throttle. Even though you are having some problems right now with it, did you know notice any change in power or throttle?

I spent months tuning my tdub, playing with jets, idle mix, needle height, float height. My two problems have been winter vs. Summer mix and a 'miss' from closed to full open throttle.

The dial-a-jet seemed perfect and I bought one. But you need to pierce the intake boot to install and this means quick Carb changes are gone.

Then I got the bike perfectly tuned. And the dial-a-jet is collecting dust in my garage.
