One thing I learned yesterday was that deep ruts and fat tires dont go well together. Rode with a couple other site members yesterday at a trail park here in New Hampshire. I was really surprised because I expected some pristine bike trails and it turned out to be a totally trashed by years of thousands of ATV's digging up deep ruts, loose stones and pieces of jagged rock scattered everywhere from one side of the trail to the other. I got sliced off into the woods like four or five times just from bouncing off a loose marble the size of a football laying in the middle of a 12" deep rut half way around the turn. I think thats what happened to her.

You're just along for the ride when a rut and a bunch of round marbles pair up and decide they want to have a little fun with you. and your fat tires.

P.S. I dont think Hannah is ever alone. Minute 6:45 - 7:09 somebody had to be videoing her and besides I dont think she could have possibly picked the bike up by herself.
So I'm not falling for the solo riding, solo camping thing.

Ya I do admire those people who are true grit. I follow a couple off the grid channels and love that kind of stuff. Dick Proenneke was a real hero of the wilderness and locally here in NH. we have the Swamp Boss. Just compare Dick to the gal above and see which one you think is a real deal.
