One of my favorite spots to visit in February is southern Utah along the Arizona, Nevada border. I'm pretty much talking about the Virgin River drainage. By late February the weather can be quite spring like though the mornings will be quite cool but the days warm into the high 60s and low 70s.

Below are some pictures from a road trip in 2009. I hope I can make it back there in 2012.

Here I am busting through Salt Lake City metro area.

Loading up the bike for a ride up to Zions via dirt roads

Local Riding Area north of St George (Just follow the Virgin River)

View of Hurricane Ridge

Riding up a road to the west of Zions.

This picture was taken south of St George if you keep going south you will run into the Grand Canyon

Lots of great rides in this area. If you want more night life you can also go to Mesquite in Nevada.

Beware above 8500 feet or lower you may run into snow.

Yeah! I've lived in Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado and know the Four Corners area well. There are places in Arizona and Colorado that can be absolutely overrun with visitors. But, fortunately for us, there are still many places where the complex mysteries of that part of the world are RIGH THERE!

Can you tell me more about your top box?

The top box is made by Happy Trails in Idaho. It's mounted directly to the CycleRack. I welded four nut plates onto the CycleRack (along with some other mods and re-powder coated the rack) and the top box mounts onto that with some rubber mounts between the rack and box.
