Hey All,

I bought a pair of adjustable/shorty levers for my '99 TW200 as I have small hands and I thought having quicker access to the levers might give me a bit more control.

Unfortunately my TW has drums all round, so when I need to brake hard two or three fingers isnt enough. I guess I could still use all 4 on the shorty (just).

Should I just keep the old levers on?

I can appreciate why short adjustable levers are great on super sensitive sport bikes with discs but on the TW w/crappy brakes?

Thanks

You might just have to adjust your brake cable a bit for some more bite. I have some shorty levers on my '87 and don't have problems locking the tire if I try.

Brakes only slow you down! :p
I really would want to be comfortable getting my whole hand on the brake lever, you need all the pressure you can get pulling on the cable. It takes a quite hard pull on the front brake even with the front disk on our TWs.
