Mudpuppy inspired me to post this.
A few weeks ago I purchased a set of mirror riser/extenders since the mirrors in the stock position only let me see my arms, and not much else. I didn't expect too much with the parts so cheap and coming from Hong Kong, but they are actually built quite well. I expected some chrome covered pot metal, but they sure feel much more heavy duty than that. They installed beautifully and look quite good on the bike. I threw a little blue Lock-Tite on the threads from the new hex bolts, and tightened them down. They didn't label the blister packs as to which one is for the right or left mirrors, but it wasn't hard to figure it out.
It was suggested to me in another thread to do the handlebar risers first since it may position the mirrors the way I would like them, but I would still like the mirrors a little higher, though they stick out just about how I would want them to, so I think these, together with the handlebar risers, the mirrors will be perfect. Even as they are now, they are absolutely great. It's so nice to ride this bike and see more than my arms.
Here are a few pictures of these little buggers for those who may be interested in these.
