Well, I like the vehicle but not that it may never be.I was tempted to put in a reservation. I was watching it but Elio was already 2-3 years behind schedule. What a shame.

Damn. If they could just crank out the cars reserved inthe "all in" category, then they could prove their product and inspire more investors. It's a shame because the car looked great. I was in line to get one.

The thing I liked about the Elio was the promise of using mostly commercial, off-the-shelf parts. The engine was supposed to be the only custom part. That would simplify the car and make it easy to fix. Perfect "first car" for kids or long-distance commuters. It's a real shame they couldn't follow through.
