I'm fabbing up some case guards and will incorporate highway pegs for long trips.

Highway pegs is a good idea! Planning on getting TCI engine guard for tdubs Xmas present. would be cool to be able to put a set of folding highway pegs on it. I find myself moving around on seat to find more comfortable position when riding on street during long rides. I have an older honda with crash bar/highway pegs so will study it to see if it will be possible to add some to tdub.

Awww...buying a Xmas present for an inanimate object; how nice! I shoulda thought of such a great excuse. You'll like the TCI plate/engine guards, put one on my '07 and am very happy. Make sure to wrap it real pretty for tdub (if you actually do a pic is requested)!
