So what is "the good cause"?
Thank You For Your Donation!

You have successfully donated to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, and your name will be entered in the raffle to win the 2017 Ural Gear-Up “Adventure Together” edition, customized by Ural ambassadors and AMA members, the Wilkinson Brothers of Indianapolis.
The winning ticket for the Ural will be drawn at the 2018 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in September 2018.
Your donation will support the efforts of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is funded by the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation. The mission of the AMHF is to celebrate the rich tradition of motorcycling in America. This includes:

  • Preserving the heritage of motorcycling and educating the public in respect to American motorcycling’s great traditions through the operation of a museum.
  • Creating and maintaining archives of publications, photographs, records and other documents relevant to the history of motorcycling.
  • Maintaining a Hall of Fame to honor those persons who have contributed to the heritage of motorcycling.
To learn more about the Hall of Fame, Hall of Famers, our events and our museum, please explore this website. For information about visiting, see http://www.americanmotorcyclist.com/hof/Visit.

Oh, thanks. I thought perhaps “Donation” implied a charitable cause. I don’t mind buying a raffle ticket as long as proceeds do not go to bonuses.

"I was reading that Rob Dingman Head of the AMA [American Motorcycle Association]made over $300,000 dollars last year. It is kind of interesting when he took over the AMA he fired most of the employees there for taking advantage of its members and being over compensated. I need to get a job with the AMA "

Base compensation Bonus other compensation Nontaxable total
Rob Dingman $168.072 $65000 $45212 $23,455 $301,739
Robert Chaddock $137,706 $18,646 $156,352
Ed Moreland $132,995 $19,032 $142,445
Gregory Harrison $111,173 $1,017 $112,190
Dennis Rhee $116,581 $6,586 $123,167
Total $835,893

Too funny.
As a sidecarist and Ural owner (Love it) I find it interesting that the AMA is raffling a Russian motorcycle rig.
