Here are a few shots of last summer and fall. This is the bluff over White River near Calico Rock.

Breaking camp at Barkshed.

Can't remember where I was, maybe Sylamore Creek.

Beautiful Downtown Boswell Arkansas.

Unknown one lane bridge.

That looks like a beautiful area to ride around and explore.

Vaguely reminds me of my old Appalachian stomping grounds in North Carolina, but with its own unique character to be sure.

Thanks for posting!

Oh, yeah! That's what I'm talking about! Love the pics! Looks like great riding country. One of my favorite boyhood stories was Where the Red Fern Grows which, of course, was set in the Ozarks. So, that's an area I've wanted to visit at some point in time. I look forward to seeing more pics and ride reports from you. Thanks!

Love the rocky bluffs and outcroppings. Looks like a great place for some TW bonding!

I don't know why, but I always stop at the old bridges or what looks like old bridges.

But we have fun finding and riding over them, don't we!

Admiral, I'm a bridge hunter too, here are a few from last year. There are only two suspension bridges left in Arkansas, I rode a 236 mile round trip one day just to see this one.

A few more good ones.

One of those is a RR trestle, don't know of any converted ones, but now I have something else to hunt for. Thanks for the idea!

I seek out anything old and unusual, like.

The Calico Rock City jail

The Zion Arkansas post office

Middle of nowhere abandoned gas station

Mainstreet Saddle Arkansas

The Tick Ridge USA community center

No joke, this cave was the first school house in Arkansas,

Ravenden Springs.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon in searcy county. Went back there once about 12 years ago. We traveled all through Big Flat, Fifty Six, Calico Rock, Mountain View, all that area. Rode horseback in the Sylamore Creek area. You sir, are a lucky man. That is truly beautiful country. Those pictures of the bridges, that's the kind of stuff that made me buy a motorcycle. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like you are near Cuba, HWY 19 is one of my favorite roads. From Thayer all the way up to Steelville is a fun ride, my Triumph Bonneville and my Royal Enfield were a ton of fun on that one. Yeah, Eureka Springs is a cool place, I get over there once a year or so too.

You should be on the C of C's Christmas card list.

Really hope to see some of that country this summer.

WE stop at Ozark going to AZ every fall/winter and spring on the way back to Illinois.

I have the TW, but if it is cold I usually don't ride it on the way out.

Spring is usually late May or early June is a different story. I usually get a couple of back road rides in.

We stay next to Lambert's in Ozark as our home base.

Usually go to Silver Dollar City and the Tiger Sancutary in our Jeep Wrangler.

There is some great riding near Ozark, anywhere in the Land of Nod (north of Dover) the roads trails and scenery are amazing.
