EXTENDED WARANTY

Any one want to chime in with their opinion on the Y.E.S. Warranty? seems kinda expensive for what you get. My brother went for Suzuki's on his DR with the idea that he was going to use the bike WAY MORE than the mfg. figured on. I expect to do the same, but with the TDubbs reliability, low cost, and availability of replacement parts, new and used, the plan doesn't seem cost effective.

OK so just found thread on same subject, and it seems my thoughts were confermed already.

any Pro warranty arguements out there?
If you can't be allowed out of the house with anything sharper than a twinkie then go for it!
I buy extended warranties on vehicles sometimes if I'm going to drive them for a while, but I wouldn't buy one for the TW.

The warranty on my truck paid out $4000 for a new rear end and GM dealer labor about 6 months ago, so it was more than worth it. It expired this month

but it paid for itself a few times over.

I also bought a warranty for my quad, but it has a lot more parts and is exposed to a lot more mud, muck and hard use that my TW.

The TW is a pretty simple 200cc air cooled bike. There's no differential(s), cooling system or big ticket items that are prone

to failure as long as you take care of it.
