Hi I'm new here. I would like to enter my bike in the BOTM contest, but there is no upload link on that page. I uploaded three pics in my profile but don't know how to move them to the contest page. Thanks for any help you can give. Del2

Welcome to the forum brother!! You may have to have 10 posts first before it will work. Not absolutely sure about that though...

Well hello Del, and welcome to the board

Although links are only allowed after a certain posting history, pics should be fine from the get go. The other point of (possible) confusion here, is that this “is” the thread that you want

Compose a reply, and insert pics as shown below (drag and drop) …..

This is my TW125, I bought it in December as a Christmas present for myself. I recently did a few mods to it:

-flat slide carb
-handguards
-replaced broken speedo with auxiliary light
-black seat
-raised fender

My favourite part of the bike is its ability to handle muddy farm trails here in the south of England. I'm able to keep up with my friends on much bigger bikes.

The first two photos I took this afternoon, the other was earlier this week before I did any mods.

replaced broken speedo
If you ever need to convert that back, give me a shout. My 200 came with a speedo in Km, no trip, so I switched it out for a 125 speedo. It's got something like 7k on it, full dual cluster, straight swap .....

Hello everybody 👋

First post as a noob to the forum and new inductee to the world of TDubs. Here's my little TW125 that I just bought as a means back into trail riding after 15 years following a monstrous crash and permanent injuries (Honda XR250 vs Land Rover Discovery head on = long hospital holiday!)

I love it already!

It's original at mo and on dual sport tyres so some mods to do before I hit the Mid Wales trails, I've ordered some Polisport handguards, new footpegs, gaiters and some bar risers, Vee Rubber tyres next on list at end of the month, and then thinking about a 54T rear sprocket to give some purpose to the currently pointless 5th gear!

Couldn't resist getting it a tiny bit dirty this morning tho 😀

Already reading back through the forum posts and learning loads about these bikes, cheers everybody, such a great source of info!

Anyway, here it is, my very own TW :)

Glad to see another 125. What do you think of the power? I'm thinking of doing an engine swap to a 225 eventually.

Hi Gandalf, yeah it's pretty slow but getting 50mph out of it so not holding up traffic too badly, I'm hoping a 54t sprocket will allow it to rev through 5th gear as it's fine up to 50mph in 4th but then just fizzles out in 5th, if it doesn't help then it should at least make it more torquey for trail riding etc...
A 225cc upgrade sounds awesome btw, I've been reading through a couple of threads regarding parts and so on and while pricey would really transform the bike (or would you look to find a complete engine?) There's 150cc kits online too that are pretty affordable and would probably do for me tbh, but not sure of their quality etc... Have you heard of anyone who's tried one?
Still, I'm having a blast ripping it flat out around the countryside even though it's slow, reminds me of being 17 again 😀

Anza-Borrego from Ocotillo Campground, canyons to the south were amazing Mods 2022 Tw200 Acerbis Pro hand guards, Moose racing skid plate, Cogent Dymamics front and rear suspension DDC compensators, Precision racks, Tusk Traverse saddlebags and small duffel bag, IMS Pro pegs, Wolfman tank bag, Moscow Moto heat shield, Groban 1.5 gallon gas can. Favorite aspect, goes anywhere I want to go, climbs like a mountain goat. I have been looking for two years to replace my 2020 I sold, gal ordered this one prepaid 4 months ago and had to cancel, searched Yamaha website to find the dealer, it became available that morning, bought it same day. Love this bike, my Husky 501 friends and I are having a blast this week in Anza-Borrego. If you get a chance come ride Anza-Borrego.
