first bike, have ?s

Got my first bike, have been out riding twice. Had some trouble today with flat spots, when you turn off the choke bike wants to die right away when you touch the throttle. Have noticed some people where mentioning to rejet the bike or adjust the air/fuel? Bike is a 2013 with only about 5 miles on it.

Thanks for any help.

if your patient, and have the tools, you can rotate carb just enough to do the 'mods' with only removing the seat. The center pivot nut that attatches the pulley to the carb can be removed. Just be careful removing and retightening. Hold the pulley as best you can as you do so. Check to ensure it snaps back once your done, BEFORE YOU START BIKE!

Good luck, take your time. TIM
