What's up guys, I noticed there weren't a whole lot of videos posted. Thought I could share one from my trip up to Jim Thorpe, PA. It's my first real trail riding on a motorcycle, so I'm no pro. Also the gopro mounted on my helmet is slightly askew and also makes the slope look a lot less intense than it really was (as you can tell by my comment at the end). Enjoy!

My apologies, I didn't edit and photobucket kinda makes the video quality look like junk, but def a lot of fun!!

Looked like a very technical and fun rocky trail. You're right about the slope, but it's not really your camera. Most video's and still photo's don't show what it's really like.

And now I know what you meant about your comment at the end
. I think I've mentioned those words from time-to-time when I've gotten myself in a pickle!

The extreme wide-angle of the Go-Pro has to be in large measure what helps with the stability of the video since roads don't come much rockier than this! Trying to shoot video with my standard digital camera which has video too would give you video so shaky you'd swear you were riding a paint shaker! Looks like this is on a helmet mount?

This is actually the taller ratio of shooting. It's called 960p I think. You can shoot a standard 720p with the normal 16:9 ratio (wide screen), but this taller view allows me to have a little better lee-way when adjusting the shoot while it's atop my head. I think the "fish eye" lens also helps. It's a sweet little camera, I def would recomend it if you do any other sort of extreme sports (ie mtn biking/snowboarding/surfing/etc).

Yes it is mounted on my helmet. However, I have an AFX-39 and there are no good flat and level spots to mount. The only surface flat (not curved) is slightly tilted. I also put a mount on the side of my head, but the weight of the cameria off to one side is kind of annoying after riding for a while.

When I get un-lazy, I'll edit some of my other footage from a newer trip my two friends took to Raystown Lake.

I will say this, I really love this moto. My friend has the wr250r and the guy laying on the ground has a BMW450 (pretty rediculous bike for what we do) and it surprises them every time how knarly of trails it will handle!...at a slower pace of course

There is good reason why one of the TW's nicknames is "Mule".
