Join in for riding?

1-3 July. Gonna be camping and riding the TW & ATV's with the family around the Sage Hen Reservoir area. Area is N.E. of Sweet/Ola, W. of Banks, ID. If you're in the area, maybe you'll see us on the logging roads. Can't give you an exact camp location as we don't camp at campgrounds and gonna wing it as far as a camping spot goes, but if run accross us, we'll offer you some cowboy coffee (no drip coffee makers out here on this one)!

9 July (Saturday, maybe 8th too) after work special (yes I work weekends). Wife gone for the weekend, so gonna do some local riding after work in the Sand Hollow (W. of Caldwell, ID) area, late afternoon and evening. 1600(ish) departure. I plan on riding in some of the local BLM area I've not yet ridden or explored. Some of the roads, (2 tracks), can have some water washout ruts and slight steep inclines, but otherwise pretty easy riding.

11 or 12 July. Long day ride planned on logging roads in the Harris Creek/Hawley Mtn, Boise Ridge area's. One of my destinations is a geocache in the area planted a couple years ago that has yet to be found, and I want to find it. I plan to trailer the TW to the Horseshoe Bend area and depart from there early in the morning (0900) and come back late, late afternoon or early evening (1700-1800).

If anyone wants to go, your welcome to join, just let me know. Other wise it will be me and Georgie.

Update for 1-3 July. One forum member may be in the area and stop in.

Vincinity (Est) of Fleet HQ Camp Location in Degree, Decimal Minutes Lat/Long format: N44 8.161; W116 11.692. Camp location is south of High Valley and not in the Sage Hen area, somewhat west of Dry Buck Summit. From FR 644, turn west on I believe FR 268, but not real sure of FR rd #. Junction coordinates are: N44 9.128; W116 9.910. Camp is 3 miles west(ish) of this junction.

Look for this.

I wish they'd move Idaho a bit closer.

Well Admiral, I would request permission to fall into formation, but I'm afraid I won't be able to go this summer, maybe if your going out in fall?

I have wanted to get over that way for some summer riding after falling in love with the McCall area this Feb.

I drool over seeing yours and the Arizona guys rides when the weather is crappy here and wish I was closer. And I don't mind desert riding either!

I ride till the snow flies, and even then it's gotta get deep!

I'll be keeping an eye on the possibility of the October "rendezvous" on your ranch.
