Here are some pics(hopefully) of the second muffler I added to quiet things down. I hear more engine noise than exhaust. Brand is Nelson and model # 1N89. My dad bought these to use on some generators and ended up not using them. I had intentions of making some flanges and welding them to stock muffler and add-on to make them detachable but never got around to it.

Over the years, there have been a few folks that have had an interest in muffling the reasonably quiet TW exhaust even more. I took the 'home made' approach for want of a better option. Your unit looks like it tucks in there nicely.



When it comes to performance, I am not to demanding but was left with the feeling (seat of my pants) that my silencer helped my low-end a bit. Certainly diminished the distinct "putt, putt, putt". As was said though, I traded exhaust noise for engine clatter, but still an appreciated improvement when moving slowly through the forest. Gerry
