I have newer bikes nowadays that have them along with radiators and fans and all kinds of do-dads, I do worry that it's just one more item that might fail you on the road. Where is the simplicity? I like that better.
The simplicity is in the form of a dozen hp in 200cc's and not trying to squeeze 25 hp out of 'em. This is likely the reason we like these bikes; they are simply made without trying to out perform and thereby needing oil coolers, fans, radiators, and doodads.

My only concern was high summer in July and August Texas heat. Most if the air cooled engines I've owned suffer with it during that time. Generally an hour of run time and a bit of cool down before another hour will be enough, along with a more expedited oil change. But I was just trying to get out in front of it. Thanks for your guys help!

I have one. It looks good and does no harm. It holds about a teaspoon of oil so do not overthink this. I have long and harsh winters. Give me any reason to use tools and take something apart or put it back together. I have had it for about 7 years. It was great to order it, wait for it, and install it. Sort of like the front rack that blocks the headlight and throws off the balance of the bike if ever really used...but I have one if I am double riding and someone else is stranded on the trail and needs a lift back to the trail head. It gets a little attention from other guys on the trails. A conversation starter that hurts nothing.

Already emailed but figured I'd leave my name here for easier reference. I'd like a full kit but will be happy with just the adapter if that's easier. Thank you in advance.

I am thinking about ordering one, could you send pictures of what I would get with the regular set and what it looked like on the bike.

On the bike installed, there are several member photos on the forum, if you give the search a shot.

Tec Specs:
All threaded holes are 1/4 npt.
Adaptor, Cooler, and 49 state bracket are made from 6061 aluminum.
All fittings are 1/4 inch brass hose barbs. These are standard fittings that you can find any where if you need to.
Hose clamps are stainless steel.
Hose is the same stuff Russ wuz using. So you know its good. (That high rent stuff.) Good year took their name off of it. (Continental Contitech InstaGrip is what it is. Took me forever to find it)

Pretty much every thing you could possibly ask is answered in this thread. I suggest anyone that buys any part or kit read this thread before you purchase.
There is a ton of great information, and ideas for people who like to tinker, on this thread.
TW200 Engine Oil Cooler

These are made to be as tough, rugged, and functional as the mighty TW 200. If you manage to break the cooler or adapter, (I want pictures of the bike and your hospital bill.) I will replace it.

Pricing:
All prices include shipping in the lower 49 states. If you are from outside the U.S.A. we will have to work that out.

Adaptor only (adapter no fittings) $65.00

Cooler only (cooler no fittings) $65.00

Complete kit (adaptor, cooler, fittings, clamps, 30 inches of hose, 49 state bracket) $170.00

California Kit (same as the complete kit no 49 sate bracket) $155.00

49 State bracket (with Stainless Steel 1/4-20 bolts and washers) $25.00

Hose (the high rent stuff) $4.00 per foot plus shipping (because I don't know how much you need.)

Hose barbs and clamps are standard that you can find at any hardware store. It does not make sense for me to sell them to to you when you can save shipping and handing and pick them up local.

How to buy:

Send me an e-mail with your name, forum name, full address, what and how many you would like to buy.

My e-mail: [email protected]

Thank you,
Ken

P.S. Now we can all stay cool.
HI Are these still available? or even just the adapter?
