Sold

Up for sale is our TW200. We have spent a lot of time and money building this bike for my father but his back will no longer handle riding bikes so instead of letting it sit we are placing it up for sale. Bike has only 1700 miles on it and is in Like New cond! Most of the miles are road miles from being ridden around town.

This TW has a lot of extras on it, and a lot of custom work. We built a custom rear rack setup that utilize Happy Trails panniers and incorporates a custom built tool tube behind the left pannier. The whole assy including the panniers was custom powder coated in a fine textured satin black UV stable finish. The rear turn signals have been shortened to keep the signals tucked in out of the way behind the panniers. Happy Trails now produces an off the shelf rack/pannier assy but the fit, quality and finish isn't near as good as this setup!

We also welded on an extra wide foot to the factory kick stand and powder coated the kickstand assy. The handle bars are Pro-Taper bars with a 1" riser (WAY more comfortable than the stock units), fitted with Factory 909 aluminum hand guards. A Ricochet aluminum skid plate is installed on the bike as well as aftermarket wider foot pegs. The rear gearing has been changed to a 44 tooth rear sprocket (stock sprocket and handle bars included in sale).

Priced at $3900 with the pannier setup. You'll save a lot of time and money vs buying a new bike and trying to replicate this setup.

Here's a few pics of the bike under construction and in it's current state.

Hi,

I'm new to the forum because I don't own a TW200...yet.

I'm 64 and live in Ellijay, GA.

Where is the modified TW200 located? What year is it?

Thank you.

It's a 2008 although nothing has changed since then except for the color scheme. I'm in Kennewick WA. I also have a brand new kick start kit that I would throw in with the deal!

Sorry about your dad. Must be very disappointing for him. I have really enjoyed reading about your mods and such. You gave me some good ideas. I'm sure that whoever buys this bike will be really happy with it.

Seems a little high for a used 4 yr old bike even with all the awesome mods. You may want to consider swapping some of the items back to stock and selling the upgraded parts individually like the skid plate and kick start kit. That could help you drop the price a bit.

Best of luck to you!

Yeah I thought about doing that as well....but I still think it's a good deal with all the work done to it compared to a new model and I hate to break it up. Model year on a TW means a lot less than other bikes since all that changes is the color scheme, condition and extras are everything. It would take a lot of work to replicate this bike.

Yeah my father would love to ride it but his back just isn't up for it any more....we have since set him up with a new desert vehicle.
