So yesterday, TWiumph and I took our new-to-us T-Dubs along a forest service road, when we came upon a whitewater creek about 2 foot deep, 15 feet across. We revved the engines and dived in, so to speak, and arrived at the other side, intact, upright, running, but absolutely soaked from the waist down with water gushing from our boots.

I forgot to mention that both TWiumph and I are well into geezerhood, mid-60s.

We stood there laughing at our sorry state, remembering the adage that "Inside every old man is still a boy wondering WTF happened".

Enjoy yourself.

It's later than you think.

You guys sound like my Dad (he is 63) whom I go riding with a lot. I'll whip out my camera to take a photograph or a quick video and have it put away while he is trying to figure out how to turn his camera on! Although you don't have any pictures, you'll always have the memories.

With as much rain as we've had your lucky you didnt end up a mile down stream!
I ride Little River Canyon and last rains made backcountry roads impassible. If you watched the news you probably saw where that genious thought he would cross the (very gorged) river in his jeep filled with wife and kids. They fished 'em out the next day after they had to spend the night lodged on rocks that probably saved their stupid lives.
