I am not a fan of my current faded blue fork boots and would like to change them out. I like the look of just dust covers or low fork boots but I am not sure which ones to get or how bad of an idea it would be to ride without them. I ride 98% street, the 2% is when I take it around my yard to play or get to the street.

JCWhitney has short boot covers that I like. Fork Boots

Or there are Shock Socks but I am not sure how well these would work or if they would be of any protection. Shock Sox

Thought maybe someone might have experience with either one or just some ideas one what the best option is.

well majority of motorcycles that are on street don't use them so you really don't need them,but if you were to have some I would choose shock sox
