Alleys are public rights of way, and most of them are big enough to comfortably accommodate heavy trucks. This one had a tight spot in the middle that I wasn't really expecting.

Thanks to all for the kind words!

I haven't been riding many alleys over the summer, not so much fun creeping around down in the valley on 100+ degree days, but it's getting to be the time of year where it's fun again.

I have heard some interest from local DS riders in the idea of an organized alley ride, and I'm finally back to a M-F workweek so finding new folks to ride with locally should be a little easier. Maybe with a few dozen more scouting trips under my belt an inaugural 2014 Tucson Alley Sweeper could be in the works?

Back when I was young and often referred to as unknown maniac I had a few "byways"" where a bike could go but a
car could not
