How was the ride down on your TW from Stratford? How long did it take you to get there, did you take the 401 at all?

No 401. Crossed it twice, though. It took about 1-1/2 hours with long stretches of +90km/h runs. One time, I looked in my mirror to find a group of about 50 bikes bearing down from behind. I had to run up to about 100km/h just to avoid slowing the pack, LOL. Thought it would blow up, but ran it hard, there and back, for hours, and not the slightest issue was to be had
... I'll need to make another valve adjustment (tickety-tick), but was really quite amazed how reliable it was, being a 1987 and all. Oh.. and just $15 in fuel for the day? Crazy. My pipe must have been glowing red hot on the highway. Had to move my foot way forward to get my ankle away from the hot exhaust pipe.

I had a camera mounted on the handlebars for a Youtube upload. Search "1 Lap around Port Dover"

The Port Dover run is now being called the biggest congregation of motorcycles IN NORTH AMERICA! Bigger than Sturgis even.

OMG thanks for the video link! lol SEE YOU NEXT YEAR? really ? wow I'm so glad you posted the link to the event. Feels like I was there! My ex went there this year with her boyfriend on a harley told me it was amazing. But now that I've seen it, definitely isn't my thing. Plus didn't see any TW's!

What camera are you using, I think I noticed some points where you were able to zoom in on important assets...lol Helmet mounted? Thanks again for the post.

cheers!

An '87 TW cool, how many clicks have you got on her?

Just 6500... and I've put 1000 on it this year... so far! Must have been some kind of barn-find or something.

My GoPro battery died before I got to do the lap, so I screwed an older DV (tape) camera on with the zoom function.

I had a tripod strapped to my right fork.. pic shows my GoPro mounted.
