Okay so the tdub has been parked in the garage for a couple months and I have not had a chance to ride her. I went out to start her up today and NO GO. No battery at all. I pulled the battery and it is bone dry. It has been Very hot here and it has been just sitting. I guess the water evaporated?? The level is so low that I can not even get a reading and from what I can tell it is completely emptied but I can't see where that would be possible. Anyway does anyone think that this can be salvaged? Should I fill it with distilled water and hook it up to the trickle charger or just toss it and buy a new one?

Thanks

Okay so I filled it up with distilled water and it is hooked up to the trickle charger so I guess we will see. Anyone have any recomendations on what kind of battery to get if I need to replace it? Should I stick with the GS Yuasa?

No harm in trying to recover it; just be prepared to purchase a new one.

Acid levels need to be checked periodically on these TWs. In fact, I think I'll do that now!
