Finally got around to getting it done yesterday while it was snowing.

Swithced out the original TW upper tubes with some longer ones from an 85 YZ80. This was necessary to get the steering geometry back into the stock area. This was necessary due to adding the Maxxis Bighorn rear tire and 3" extened swingarm.I'm working on a 2" longer swingarm today.

While it was apart I had a local machinest drill, tap and recess the lower tubes to accept the YZ's oil drain screws. My lowers had the casting bosses where the screws should have been.

I also added the HyperPro progressive springs and replaced the steering head bearings to the All Balls tapered roller bearings.

Now I just need the weather to cooperate so I can get out and test ride.
