I usually ran the 5-10-18 and loved it but it's a little heavy feeling in the steering when up front

I'd bet the 4-10 might be perfect for the TW

Acceptably good choice Hambone. I think a fat front tire looks better but have found that a narrower front tire performs better as far as turn-in and handling sensations go. I don't feel that any of the front tires seem to "float" well in soft stuff so going narrow does not really sacrifice much in snow, sand and mud.
Somewhat counterintuitive but I've come to appreciate what a lighter narrow Shinko 241 imparts to the TW's handling. Quick responses to subtle steering inputs helps reduce fatigue when dodging frequent trail "irregularities".
