I will be removing the fuel line to install a 90 degree Visu fuel filter. After turning off the petcock will there be fuel in the line? I want to make sure I catch any leaks/spills. Thank you for the help

Shut the petcock off and run the engine until the line/carb is empty.

Shut off the petcock and use the carb bowl drain screw with a rag under the drain tube. There are about three tablespoonfuls of gas in the line and the carb bowl.....not a big deal unless you do this in the kitchen. :p

Shut off the petcock and allow your engine to run for exactly 1 minute and 17 seconds. That will allow the gas in the fuel line to flow into the carb bowl. You can now remove the fuel line without putting out your stogie, wasting gas, unnecessarily soiling a rag, polluting the ground water, or making a mess in your kitchen ;):D!
