It's either my gas tank or my seat that's gone a little out of alignment in the first 400 miles. I'll have them take a look at it when I get the bike serviced at 600 miles.

It's the seat, you can check the tank, make sure it's got its retaining bolt, maybe slip it off and back on the pucks to be sure, but seats made of plastic, tank is metal. My money is on the seat.

Nice part, other than asthetics... it's still just gonna be a place for butts and nuts, no harm.

There's a suction cup underneath the front of the seat, when I first got mine, that sucker was so hard to detach and move, maybe it just slipped to the side?

The upper part of the seat is only held in place by a suction cup. It moved. Pull the front of the seat up til you hear a pop and then reposition the top of the seat and push down to suction it again.
