Newbie here
can I use grip end mirros, and hand guards using the same end bolt?
Welcome to the forum!

Not sure exactly what you mean by the same end bolt because there is no stock end bolt unless i'm not following you. If you get aftermarket you will have to cut the end off of your throttle tube, at least I did, mine came with a closed end throttle tube, yours may differ but not too likely is my guess.

If your talking aftermarket guards, my bolts were long enough..

You are probably right, I shouldn't expand the width of the bike, I just didn't like the stock mirrors that much.
I live in the NE woods, so grip end mirrors are not a good idea.
hey, thanks for getting back to me. Never in a blog before. This one seems really good.

Are bar end mirrors a good choice for a dual purpose bike? I would think that it would put them out into harms way, unless you're building a street only version.
That could also depend on how much you weigh.. :) Wide may be good!

How study/solid are foldin mirrors? Stock vibrate enough, don't like the blur.
It's gonna be hard to beat blur at speed. That's for sure. Look at double take mirrors..

Bark busters did the same for me, they all act like a brace of sorts I guess.

I put D Flex handguards on my bike and a side benefit was reduced mirror vibes.
