Just got back from Death Valley. Another great trip with some snow above 4000ft.

First ride wasn't in Death Valley, but one over in Owen's River Valley.

Armstrong Canyon, steep in places with great views.

View from the trail end of the owens river valley looking toward Big Pine.

Snow on the trail.

Looking down on a really cool primitive campsite about 3 miles up road, before it gets steep.

View at the top.

I'll add some pics from Panamint City Ghost Town, Jail Canyon, and China Spring later.

BTW-this trip was the first chance to really test out my new forks using RT180 legs into a bored out tw crown. Night and Day. Front end now matches the backend feels awesome, the rockier the trail the better.

beautiful! i was there back in 1988, and remember fondly the desolate beauty, geologic wonder and lovely isolation.
