I was hill climbing and dropped my TW. The stock handlebars got bent and it didn't take much. I would like to purchase a stronger handlebar. Anyone have a part number of the Renthal bars that would be close to stock.

Not sure how strong Flexx handlebars are and if their adapters fit the TW but they are around $300 and reduce arm fatigue on bumpy trails. I would invest in aftermarket products that do a better job than stock parts if i can afford it

Anytime something fails I see it as a chance to upgrade. Renthals and Protaper are great upgrades. Whatever bend fits you best but I really enjoy my atv hi bars on the tw. Unless you are really short the standing position on the tw leaves alot to be desired. Just food for thought...

If you can't afford Flex then simple riser extensions add a bit of buffer to absorb some of the destructive energy in a crash. Unless you are Japanese short I would recommend the riser extensions just for comfort while standing.

i always go back and forth upgrading stock bars on dirtbikes to something stronger, always afraid in a hard enough dump, something more expensive will break instead of the bars being bent.

that being said i'm not often out in the wilderness like you folks might be, more in trails that are no more than a couple miles from a road.

I just replaced my bent stockers for a set of renthal 971 bars I had in the shed .They are pretty much a dead match for the stockers in every way except there is no crossbar which I didn't want anyway .
