GOD BLESS TW PIPE
Yeap. Just removed from my bike & still usable . Fixed the hole .Works fineDid that come off a running bike? If it had nine lives, I’d say it spent em all.
So the idea is that we should put insulating wrap around exhaust pipes to trap moisture and thus accelerate corrosion? Got it!![]()
XT 225 & TTR 225 header pipes does fit for the tDub . Just Checked In My Bank AccountYep, that's for sure what caused this. If can find in a high moisture area use the XT225 header(stainless)![]()
Looking Forward To Get Stainless Pipe . Little Too Short . Can I Get Small Loan Of A Million DollarsThere are quite a few on eBay.....![]()
What Happen If Someone Wrap Their Stainless headerThere are some very interesting articles on header wrap and it's effects on different metals and internal gas flows.... Mild steel breaks down fairly rapidly but not from moisture as one might assume.
The articles I have read indicate that stainless steel has a tendency to increase in density which is the opposite of mild steel. I will look around and see if I can find the info I was reading. The most work on this issue comes out of the auto racing industry..... They do a lot of research on gas flow, heat and durability of materials..What Happen If Someone Wrap Their Stainless header
Diffrent people have diffrent choices So I just wanna make sure how stainless header works on .Looked but did not find the articles on wrapped exhaust..... Why are you interested in re-wrapping a new or stainless header?
Stainless will last way longer than mild steel wrapped or not......Diffrent people have diffrent choices So I just wanna make sure how stainless header works on .
