Hi everyone,



Thanks for all the great info on the forum, I have been looking for a while but this is my first post.



I just picked up a 2003 TW with 98 original miles for $2000. My first mod will be to change the oil and filter.



I live in Taos, any other members out there in northern New Mexico.

Rich, I'm not sure who might be in northern NM, but I'm in the Rio Abajo in Belen. I see other TWs (even in Belen), but whether they get ridden or not is open to debate. Who buys a bike and lets it set for 7 years with 98 miles. Your gain, congrats. Tom

Sorry we did not run across you last Jan. Two of us were riding our TWs all over Quartzite [admittedly, more in the hills to the SE than in town] for a couple of weeks.



We expect to be down your way again this Jan, so look out for us!

I saw several TW's this past year down there. Actually until last year, I never saw any, and then I saw 4 or 5. I talked to one guy, and I think there is a guy a couple blocks south of us, but I never did see him, and he left earily to go home.



The people I ran into out of town where up around an old miner's cabin, south of Gold Nugget road.

I'm in NNM/Jemez area. A co-worker of mine said he saw ANOTHER TW in town this weekend that looked just like mine (a 94). I haven't seen another 94 or 95 around these parts, but have seen a few newer TW's...mostly white.

Terb, I'm recollecting there are two Luna, New Mexicos. One near Reserve and one near Carrizozo - both would have miles and miles of trails close by. I'm near Los Lunas (a third town yet)and also have much space in which to recreate and breath. I've been yearning to go down toward Gallinas Peak on the TW, but I'm betting you are the western Luna.
