I'm not just blaming the President. He is (should be) just a small part of this debacle.

I go vote in the Primaries now.

Pray for our Nation.

Pray for sure because this nation has become filthy and vile and is reaping the reward of this.

I pray, I vote and I prepare.

Unfortunately, unless the People of the United States of America take the advice from God Himself and Repent, we are history. Sad, but true. You'll see. Prepare yourself and your soul, times are going to get much harder than anything we've seen before as God separates the wheat from the chaff in the near future.

2 Chronicles 7:14

King James Bible
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

I think the attitude towards debt of the government sadly reflects the attitude towards debt of the American people.

Students do not learn basic financial management in school. I am from a different generation than most of you, and I'm not sure what you used to learn in school, but I think to myself all of the time how messed up it is that anyone my age can identify cloud types, knows the difference between magma and lava, and the difference between a stalagmite and a stalactite, but cannot mange personal finances. Not that geology isn't important, but my gosh, priorities!!!

I don't mean to side track this thread, but I get riled up every time I think about debt of the government and personal debt of the american people. It's become too socially acceptable to take out a loan or use credit for every necessity, luxury, and whim that crosses our path.

cpit and littletommy

You are both correct. Thank you for sharing.

When I was in high school in 1975 my long haired liberal democrat civics teacher (he told us he was liberal and a democrat) and he was a National Education Association union member
and Illinois teachers union member, preached to us all the time that the Republicans were destroying our nation with debt. I laugh and laugh now that this democrat has had to watch
as Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and now Barack Hussein Obama Jr. have all added to this monsterous debt.

I don't blame the Democrats anymore than I do the Republicans. I blame them all.

This is a persona thing which you cpit mention and it's at the national and state in some cases level too. It's a heart issue. Our hearts are greedy thinking we can get something for nothing with no work ethic.

littletommy.......I think the worst is yet to come to America and the world. End Times? Oh, you bet, I've been thinking this sine 1980 when I met Jesus at age 19 while seeking God.

Fact is humans are corrupt and devious and not willing to repent. Unless there is a Spirit born revival this nation is doomed.

I hope not as I've brought two wonderful children into this world and didn't want to but was told I needed to give the world a legacy by having a family so I got obedient and we have worked hard to do so. One will graduate in May with a four year degree from U of I in media and the other in two years with a four year degree in mechanical engineering from our local University here in Illinois which is tops in this field.
Still, it's not the education that matters it's how we raised them.

I employ many people and all of the youth I've been hiring lately are so "failure to launch" I hang my head and cry. Why? What have we done in society to have this?
Well, I know why but still I ask.

I see many kids coming from China and India who have much better training at home, or so it appears. If they are Christian. If they are atheists which many are, they are not much better
than the typical punk on the street in the U.S., greedy, self-serving and only caring about their needs.

Oh well. I see too much.

God save us.
We don't deserve it.

I wish there were some real answers we all could believe in. History tells us it is hard for a democrat to win the WH after 8 years of democrat rule yet we have a 74 year old socialist and a proven liar running and doing well. On the republican side we started with 17 and are now down to 3 but only 2 with any real chance. One was born in Canada to parents of Cuba descent and the other is a boisterous but highly successful businessman. The republican GOP leaders hate them both and are doing all within their powers to knock them both off. By the time we got to the polls to elect our next president both will be highly damaged goods. Hillary could be under indictment while Bernie could be gasping for air. Is there any real wonder why we are in the shape we are in?

If Donald Trump pulls out a win tonight in Wisconsin then things might settle down some. If Cruz wins then we are guaranteed a brokered convention and that will likely produce a win for the democrats, either Hillary or Bernie along with a complete implosion of the republican party. 8 More years of the same stupid crap!

It is pretty damn hard to soar like an Eagle when we are surrounded by a bunch of Turkeys we continually elect! Both political parties and the American voters get exactly what they deserve for being so completely stupid in this entire process.

I believe so also. God is going to separate the sheep from the goats, the wheat from the chaff, refine and burn away the dross until there is nothing but pure gold left. He knows those who are "His". The Shepherd knows his sheep.

There is coming a day in which there will be a great falling away and also a time of great revival. For those that call themselves a Christian now, and don't serve Him like you should be doing, don't think for a moment that you will serve Him later when the heads start to roll. You won't. You will fall away with the rest of the backsliders and sinners who refuse to repent.

Matthew 24:13 "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved".

Luckily for us all, an offer is given. It is a gift, the price has been paid in full.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

John 3:17 "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."

The thing is Gary, we're going to get what they deserve as well. These politicians are looking out for themselves rather than We The People or our Nation.

That graph, ...according to The Constitution it's the Congress that is responsible for producing and approving a Federal budget. They have let the President assume the preparing part but lately they just approve it. The President has assumed a lot of power in the last few decades that they are really not entitled to. Our Representatives have just let it go. Takes the monkey off their back.

I voted for Berny. I figured Cruz had it sewn up anyway and there is no clear choice for me as far as GOP candidates go. At this point I just don't care. I figured who ever gets the GOP nomination would have a better chance against Berny than Hillary. It was projected close between those two.

From what I see around the world we are all being driven into massive debt to the world bank. It doesn't matter which system or party they just use nations/parties to divide us while corporations pillage our money through our governments. With nations around the world specializing in various areas of production we are all more vulnerable and no one area is independent of the global economic system that we fail to recognize as the New World Government.

Think local... it's worth paying more to invest in your communities independence and well being.
Don't buy cheap crap from multinational franchises. There's always a price to pay for cheap goods.
Know what you're buying and where it comes from.

It doesn't matter where you vote, it's where you put your money. Collectively it makes a world of difference and it starts with you.

How many of you will complain about this and then run out to Walmart. BOYCOTT!!!!!

You all are right. My choice is still Cruz. I think Trump is a phony blow hard, a rich one, but still a blow hard. I have found the one who is always accusing someone else of lying, is usually the liar.
And Trail Woman, I agree,,,,,,BOYCOTT!!!!!

Bernie couldn't get my vote if I was drunk, stoned, passed out and had someone else pushing my fingers. I am sick of paying for freeloaders! Been doing exactly that all my life and never enough.

Right this minute I would clearly vote Trump but that is subject to change depending upon how he comes around. Immigration, Economy and the security of America in that order is where I fall but you are all welcome to pick your own poison. IMO America is the single biggest business in this world and we do need a business savvy guy to help us through to remain there. Every country on this earth wants the position held by the USA as Top Dog so we need a guy/gal who will fight to keep our title. Socialism is and always has been a complete failure as soon as it runs out of money, history is the proof positive!

Now for the bad stuff. We need a complete prick who will hire and employ those who will get us back on top. Do I care if some don't like us? Do I care if that individual is not Politically Correct? What I do care about is that the President we do pick is not just another politician up to his ass in debt to Special Interests and working to pay off those debts. Washington D.C needs a serious Make-Over and this just might be our last chance to get it right. 3, 4 or maybe 5 Supreme Court Justices could be replaced by the next US President so you all might want to consider what that will mean for your Constitutional Rights and the direction this country takes. Hillary and Bernie will have us all learning Arabic and Chinese and Cruz will have us learning Spanish. I refuse to press anything for English. Keep in mind now, this is just the way I see things and I don't much care if you see them the same.

I signed a check for up to and including my life during Vietnam for this country. Every male but one questionable one in my family has done the same from the Civil war and right through the desert wars and a couple are still serving today. We have paid our family dues to feel the way we feel. Step on my flag and I might be the first one to stomp on your member.

Don't let my point go over your head there Gary. I think Berny is a joke, a very bad sick joke. I think that Hillary is a more contentious (and dangerous) candidate and for some reason there are a lot, LOT, of people (my mother in law is one) that will vote for her "just because it's her turn".

Berny really doesn't stand a chance. In my state the GOP candidate was already determined before I got out of bed. Why confirm Cruz when I have the opportunity to derail Hillary. That was supposed to be a close race, Hillary v Sanders.

Sometimes the tactic is take out the greatest threat first rather than just advancing your own flag.

Walmart is not the problem. They are a capitalist based organization that encourages, and takes advantage of, free enterprise. They are actually part of the solution. Let's just get the Government out of their way.

It's the Government programs, Socialistic Security, Medicare/Medicaid, BET cards, Government welfare programs of any sort, that we are borrowing for, that are putting those that actually make stuff, those that WORK, under pressure, while not only subsidizing but ENCOURAGING those living off the backs of hard working people, to swamp this Country and swallow the very people that are supporting it, under a heavier and heavier weight that grows each day.

....and for what? We all know we are going to be on the government take, the government dole someday. Why should I continue to work? Just show me now where I need to sign up for my "entitlements".

LittleTommy it's possible. But I'm not going to welcome it.

I think if Trump got in it would lead to more unnecessary conflict.
Conflict, Absolutely! Unnecessary is where we part company. Something has to happen and it needs to be drastic or in your terms Conflicting. Bernie, Hillary and Cruz will be spending the first 4 plus years just paying off their debtors. Kasich tonight is robbing close to 20% of the deciding votes and where the hell is his money coming from?????? He has won just 1 state and is being supported to play the spoiler so neither Trump or Cruz can get the 1237 needed. Lets talk about corruption now!

It looks to me like if you buy cheap stuff from china for example at Walmart that closes down local business, retailers close, manufacturers can't compete. They close. Everyone is poor so less tax dollars from all the unemployment, and loss of taxes on the labor of manufacturing the imported goods. Now everyone is on welfare and can't afford anything that doesn't come from Walmart....I have no idea how Walmart could be part of the solution.

I think social programs are a good idea but they're not invested wisely. If people ate and exercised better they'd be less of a burden on the healthcare system. If dorms are good enough for college students wouldn't they be adequate temporary shelter on welfare, saving money for training and work placement?

It's not quite that simple ...because our Governments are involved.

Do you realize that we have basically shut down a majority of coal burn plants in this country and yours?

Two things happened; we now frack and burn much more natural gas, which has half the green house gasses of coal,

, ...and we export a lot of coal, to China. A lot of coal.

Apparently coal, when burned in China, does not contribute to green house gasses.

I would rather see us compete on a REAL level, fair playing field with China than "New World Order's" perception of what is fair and just.

Social programs are a goverments way of replacing charity with mandated government charity. (Is that really even charity at that point?) I give to those that I, that's "I, as in "eye", deem fit to give my "extra" hard earned cash to. It somehow seems fake when the government takes from me, gives to someone else, and does this in the name of humanity, when I have no say on where my, THAT"S MY! taxes dollars are going to

It's our new world government redistributing the worlds (yours and mine) wealth.
