So I got my hands on an old TW and it is in great shape with the exception of the gas cap seal.... I have a split in the seal and I was wondering what (if any) advice you guys may have that helps me avoid buying a new gas cap. I got to imagine someone has found a replacement seal rather than spend a $100 on the cap.
Also this may sound stupid but if I do have to go with a new cap, does it come with its own key or does the cylinders get swapped?

I think you could try and make one out of an old tube. I just disabled my gas key locks and have no regrets. It's so much easier to fuel and I doubt anyone will mess with the tanks in any way.

What'd you do to disable them?
Simple fix. Remove the two screws on the underside of the cap and remove the locking bar. Put it back together and no more lock.
