Back in the early 60s my father took our family to this hill climb and I have wanted to go back ever since. I haven't chosen a date yet so I thought I would start this thread to see if anyone else is interested in meeting for a day at the hill climbs. Look it over and let me know I'm pretty much open to any date at this time. White Rose Motorcycle Club sponsores many events as you will notice on their calendar and since it's only an hour from my home, I'll probably attend many times this summer.
Click on the "about" tab...It's an interesting story on how a group of motorcycle enthusiasts dreamed it, and built it from the 1950s till today.

It's kind of iffy now that we've moved back north but I'll try to fit one in. Have you been there before? That hill is wicked steep! 0.0;
The swap meet last year was kinda smallish but still worth the time, especially since a couple of the guys had a back-roads ride to go with it.

I attended a hill climb there 52 years ago. Damn I'm getting old. :p.

I am up for anything as far as riding in PA, not sure how amazing I will be hill climbing on a TW, but not afraid to try. Most anytime is good, except for now, I can't go right now. Will I need a bigger rear tire? :laughing9:
I'm going as a spectator only. The only thing my TW would do is maybe ride down the hill.

The video does not do the steepness of that hill justice. Standing at the bottom you're looking almost straight up. Not to say you can't, but it is likely to be be an..interesting..ride.

Oh, and that white wall there that folks are leaning on at the bottom of the hill? It's concrete and only about 15 feet from the base of the hill so do try not to come down at speed =)

Hill climbs are about power as well as traction, also momentum. Whether you need a bigger tire is not as important as needing more power. A lot more power.
